Our Executive Staff

Denise Spitler, Chief Executive Officer and Owner

Denise, a CPA and manager for more than 20 years, was responsible for financial operations of
the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a large metropolitan newspaper, for 10 years. Her other responsibilities
at the Star-Telegram included information services, human resources, loss control and
a cable TV magazine publication. She later assisted in building a community newspaper group,
which included shared responsibility for several publications across the United States and was
publisher of the Fort Worth Business Press. Effective marketing strategies were a key factor in
Denise’s management success. Denise started Connection Enterprises in January 2003.

John Wessler, President and Owner

John has more than 15 years’ experience in banking and real estate. His responsibilities have
included serving as CEO of a $250 million bank and a $500 million real-estate company.
Sales and marketing were significant responsibilities in each situation. His entrepreneurial
activities include a fiber-optic-cable placement company, an organic tree farm and Connection
Enterprises.

Jerod Wessler, Senior Vice President

Jerod has nine years of experience in customer service and logistics. His primary focus is
quality control, technology and business development.

Tammy Schriner, Operations Manager

Tammy has nearly two decades of experience in media and marketing. She spent 10 years
working with a magazine group producing nearly 50 custom publications every month, with
each edition specifically designed for individual business partners. Tammy also spent one year
in direct-mail marketing. She has been with Connection Enterprises since its inception. Her
primary responsibilities are related to the management of the retention-marketing business.
